Tim Bright graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. He began his career as a fine artist, studying with Edwin Dickinson at the Arts Students League in New York City an...view moreTim Bright graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. He began his career as a fine artist, studying with Edwin Dickinson at the Arts Students League in New York City and Karl Knaths in Provincetown.
After several years in Provincetown, he changed his vocation becoming a builder, constructing several houses including his own. When he retired from the business, he moved to Ireland for a short time. While there, he developed in interest in writing poetry. He has been writing for the past eight years. At one time, he led a writing group at The Wellfleet Writer’s Guild.
He studied with Rosalind Pace and Tony Hoagland.
