He was born on May 21, 1890 in Crete, Nebraska, the son of Clarissa Sidney “Sidney” Guthrie Brady (1862-1890), who died soon after his birth, and Cyrus Townsend Brady (1861-1920), a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, ordained Episcopal minister, and prolific author. Lt.-Col. Brady passed away on March 17, 1966, aged 75, and was interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.view less
