He moved to Florida in 1990 where he pursued his love for rapping and poetry. He met Shirley Pearlman, AKA Granny Rapp, and formed a group called "725". They made national appearances on television and radio. Malik has also released two other books, "Gift Rapp" and "Within the Body of the Poet". Malik loves animals, nature and in his free time enjoys hiking, yoga and Martial Arts. He has been a lifetime comic book enthusiast. He currently lives in Joshua Tree, California with his wife and child.view less
