I am a retired educator with nearly thirty years of classroom experience, hold a doctorate in education, have been married to the same woman since 1977, have two grown and married kids and two gran...view moreI am a retired educator with nearly thirty years of classroom experience, hold a doctorate in education, have been married to the same woman since 1977, have two grown and married kids and two grand kids. I am an Air Force veteran, a licensed private pilot, and I ride a Harley 1200 XL Nightster.
I have been writing since I was in grade school, but didn't start publishing until I began teaching. My published material up to now has been scholarly and peer reviewed journal articles for teachers. As to my personal writing, I have always enjoyed the supernatural and horror/fantasy. I have written two books and have two others in production. The completed books are available on Smashwords. My inspirations have been Edgar Allen Poe (of course), H.P. Lovecraft and Steven King.
I am also a working artist. I do paintings, drawings, recycled material sculpture, paper cuts, and the occasional ceramic object. My subject matter is satirical farce, and the surreal. My work can be seen and purchased at http://www.moon-dog-studio.comview less
