My mother worked at Continental Airlines and my father worked as a subcontractor for Cal-Spas and Alpha Beta grocery store as a meat cutter. I grew up in a home where you were not allowed to speak unless spoken to,where you was seen but never heard, and walked on egg shells every time your father walked in the room. Unable to voice my feelings or expressions like i wanted to,I learned to write in my diary about my life's ups and downs . Throughout my diaries that I have written over the past years, I used my life's experiences, the good and the bad and made them into poems. As you read my poems, you'll be able to feel the emotions and what I was going through at that moment and some of you may relate to my story, and some of you may not. I hope you enjoy.view less
