Scott, a Tallahassee, Florida resident, earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication from Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee, and her master’s degree in Speech Communication from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Her goal has always been to teach adults in higher education.
Her career as a teacher of adults, both within higher education, as well as in business organizations has spanned nearly thirty years. The first thirteen years were spent teaching speech communication and business communication courses at Tallahassee Community College and at Thomas University, located in Thomasville, Georgia. Then in 1997, she went back to her alma mater, FSU, where she worked in Human Resources in the Office of Training and Development. Currently, she works at a Florida non-profit organization in training and development.
Her hobbies and interests include music, wildlife adventure traveling, photography, and animal/wildlife conservation.view less
