College and MA from Delhi School of Economics, Dr.
Borkakoti went on to earn his MSc(Econ) and PhD
in Economics at the London School of Economics.
After retirement from Middlesex University, London,
where he taught economics, Dr. Borkakoti, who has
been writing poems for about forty-fi ve years, a fact
unknown to his colleagues, has edited his poems, and
has prepared a collection of his poems. His poems
