My rating is only for the narrator. She’s not terrible but she’s absolutely not right for this book and character. She does the extra characters ok but for charlotte she’s too aloof and the emotions don’t match the words.

I bought the paperback to reread it again. I secretly wish Ariel and Gray would’ve been more intimate with each other. The “I love you” from Ariel broke me into pieces.

I’m SO mad that I have to wait for more of this! The whole premise had me feeling some kinda way before I even leapt into it, but the delivery is phenomenal! The FMC is wily, strong, and just vulnerable enough that you feel for her but don’t want to strangle her every two pages. 10/10 absolutely, just sad I have to wait for more!

The narrator is awful! I can’t get past her voice. DNFed, FMC is always scared, shaking and pretends to be tough. This was highly recommended, very disappointed.
