    This book, written by a well known naturopathic medical doctor, offers a comprehensive but concise overview of gut health. Gut health is foundational to health, and poor gut health leads to wide variety of diseases in the body. Dr. Stengler offers a healthy gut protocol that includes food choices, supplements and recipes. He also has a section for various gut issues and solutions, as well as a section for non-digestive issues that are caused by digestive issues. The book is well-written and readable. I enjoyed it.

    Dr. Edward has taken one of today's most common issues, leaky gut, and explained it thoroughly. The section of supplements with associated descriptions is very helpful. As a practitioner, I know I will be referring to this book for advice for myself and my clients.

    This book is a well written book about the working of the gut. I have been researching intermittent fasting and this really solidified the benefits of this protocol for a healthy gut. I learned a lot about how the gut works and it’s motivating me to create better gut health.
