About this audiobook

When cracks start forming in an influencer’s curated life, she finds out that jealousy is just as viral as a video in this riveting suspense novel by bestselling author Jesse Q. Sutanto.

Influencer Meredith Lee didn’t teach Aspen Palmer how to blossom on social media just to be ditched as soon as Aspen became big. So can anyone really blame Mer for doing a little stalking? Nothing serious, more like Stalking Lite. Then, Mer gets lucky; she finds one of Aspen’s kids’ iPads and swipes it. Now, she has access to everything: the family calendar and Aspen’s social media accounts. Would anyone else be able to resist tweaking things a little here and there, showing up in Aspen’s place for meetings with potential sponsors? Mer’s only taking back what she deserves—what should have been hers

Meanwhile, Aspen doesn’t understand why her perfectly filtered life is falling apart. Sponsors are dropping her, fellow influencers are ghosting her, and even her own husband seems to find her repulsive. If she doesn’t find out who’s behind everything, she might just lose it all. What everyone seems to forget is that Aspen didn’t become one of TikTok’s biggest momfluencers by being naive. When Meredith suddenly goes missing, Aspen’s world is upended and mysterious threats begin to arrive—but she won’t let anything get in the way of her perfect life again.

I really enjoyed this book from the influencer world! It was modern and caddy and really enjoyed the ride! And showed that everything you see online is not real. Meredith was an influencer and helped Aspen to become one and then Aspen becomes more popular and then they really lost touch. Aspen is also faking her posts, making her life look perfect and amazing and you get the behind the scenes of what's really happening. Which I thought was just an amazing thing to highlight. Meredith starts trolling Aspen's account. And then she gets her hand on her tablet and sees the unedited drafts. She also looks at Aspen's calendar and starts going to meetings that were set up for Aspen and removing/moving them on the calendar and she goes to the meetings instead. And then she makes out with Aspen's husband. Thought that was a stupid storyline - but I guess it was needed for it to all "come together". Then Aspen pretends to make up with Meredith, then drugs her, and kills her....I was shocked. Middle of the book and one of the main characters is legit gone. I was like where do we go from here? The chapters were bouncing back and forth between Aspen and Meredith, so I was shocked when one of them was gone! Aspen's assistant Liv plays a role. Come to find out, she's having an affair with Aspen's husband as well. Aspen pretends to be sad about Meredith's death. But her online persona starts to blow up. And everyone thinks she murdered Meredith. She confronts her husband who is sleeping with her assistant, and he throws Aspen down the stairs. So then she is able to set up Ben as being the murderer of Meredith since he was capable of hurting her. In the end, Aspen had planned to set up her husband all along. Was this far-fetched? 100% Was it a great ride? 100% I have it four stars. Not earth-shattering, but definitely an enjoyable ride!
