Definitely not a step by step guide as the description claims. But I did enjoy the book and the narrator's voice. But maaaayyybeee let's stop saying schizophrenia and bipolar disorder aren't mental illnesses and folks with it are just unaware mediums. That seems problematic at best, damaging at worst if someone with that illness takes her at her word and goes off their medication. Also, uh, I'm pretty sure the author used the word "retarded" like, 8 times. Maybe stop that too...

This book was an eye opener. I’ll listen again to get more facts.

Surprisingly short and lacking clearings. I haven't taken the class but after reading the book I'm not sure there's much content to it .
