Eleven-year-old Pollyanna, an orphan with a heart full of sunshine, finds herself in a new home – the gloomy mansion of her stern Aunt Polly. But Pollyanna isn't fazed. Armed with her unique philosophy, "the Glad Game," she sees the silver lining in every cloud, no matter how dark. As Pollyanna's irrepressible optimism spreads through the townspeople of Beldingsville, lives are transformed, proving that even in the face of hardship, joy can always be found.
