I wasn’t sure I’d like this, based on the deck, but it’s a great story. Lots of twists and turns, with a satisfying conclusion that still leaves room for the next in the series.

When you are an addict, there are highs and lows. This author is a superficial addict to 'let's add everything to tell his story'. No lows for this writer and none for the reader, no time to digest. Seriously, Barnes beats up a man in front of a 7 year old - violence = violence

Not bad but a very convoluted plot. If u like the lone wolf cop with some random issues with his wife then u will like this book. I am going to listen to the next one to give it a second chance.
