The FMC is soo wrapped up in herself, she doesn't give anyone a chance. Then she just makes baseless assumptions about everything. The MMC should move along, there is no need to hold on for someone that selfish.

Horrible! The absolute worst book I've ever listened to. The story had no substance. The characters never really come to life. The scenarios are very elementary and each Intetaction drags onnnn and onnnn and onnnnn. Good greif can I please get 6 hours of my life back. I had to speed it up to 1.5x just to get through it. And even then, the narrator is SUPER annoying. Don't waste your time.

This would be a great book except for the over the top dramatically unreasonable, bitchy, rude, arrogant, scared, FMC. I get it, the author needed angst, hurt and a wary FMC to make a story. This was just over done. No guy should stick around for this much rudeness and holy than thou attitude. The audiobook narration makes it even worse. The MFC narration doesn’t even sound remotely like a male. I’m. It sure why they picked this narrator. Smithers different voices are not well done.
