This book is a true study guide and has helped me organize the way I study, given me hints to recognize words and maximize online tools for French language learning. At first I was going through words, looking for typical lessons. Eventually I found my level, along with other resources but you will not see anything typical here.

Great for learning with this audio version and I found the vocabulary and ways to say useful phrases was great. I've had quite a few audio books and this has to be one of my favourite so far.

Never had luck with language courses before but I'm actually learning this time. I haven't got the best short-term memory but somehow Learn Like a Native's approach really works for me. I'm heading to France for the first time next month and this course is exactly what I need to feel confident in going with basic verbal communication skills. Highly recommended.

I loved this because it requires me to hear and repeat. It felt good being reminded not to memorize. I listened to it twice and actually feel ready to move on to the next course. Great help even for those who have tried other methods.

Gives helpful analogies and uses a native French speaker for pronunciation. Helps too that he makes you think about what to say before you say it and there's a lot of repetition.
