This book is not your typical romance novel. It’s more about the relationship with the kid and how the three of them become a family. I was looking for a romance story that was not too formulaic, something with more substance. I’m glad i found this one, couldn’t put the book down, or the audio to be more exact. Michael dean is a perfect narrator as always. If you’re looking for a story more centered on the romance aspect then pick another book and leave this one for another time.
