++ The Work ++
Interesting story of an elderly woman in a fascinating world where time travel is possible. The protagonist holds some rather strong opinions, but it is not to the detriment of the story.

What, however, negatively impacted my enjoyment of this audiobook was the lack (?) of editing (or possibly messy editing). I nearly suffered a heart attack at the end of the first chapter when my ears were assailed by the strangest of noises. Indeed, you will find similar cacophonies at the end of every chapter. If not for the captivating setting of this novel, I would not have made it to the end.
