- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I first heard of Sandra Tsing Loh on "This American Life," where she read her story "Bad Sex with Bud Kemp." I loved the story; her voice is rich, the pace of her storytelling is wonderful, and her humor is good and dry. In "Aliens in America," I especially love the image of her father, carrying his papers in a cereal box because he's cheap and refuses to throw anything away. And her disbelief that he could be considered a "catch" by other women is hilarious; something universal to all children when considering their parents as people.
