Truly one of the best virus outbreak books I have heard. I stumbled on this accidentally. I had thought it was a zombie apocalypse book; which is my most listened to genre. (And I listen to tons of zombie and virus books. 2 full books a week at least for years)..

The characters are lovable, the powers are more subtle and realistic compared to most super power type books..there is action but not too much...there is humor, heartbreak, tons of genuine human connection and strength. The series wraps up in such a lovely manner..it leaves you wanting more because it was so good but fully satisfied with closure!! I'll be following this author.
