Two jungle animals in the land of Zen, Eli the Elephant and Mango the Tiger have different and unusual colours to the norm. They are rejected by their families and teased by the other jungle animals. 

They accidentally meet. A friendship relationship of caring and sharing develops into love. They admire each others unique appearances despite rebuke from jungle animals. Remarkably their colours unexpectedly change into beautiful glowing psychedelic colours. 

All the jungle animals, villagers and families are astounded and they rejoice in dancing to 'Elephant Samba Tiger Tango." (Song) 

Theme of the book is the miracle of love and its power to resolve differences. “You too can be beautiful if you can only accept differences between animals and people.”
