This book has techniques that work, but like all challenges, the techniques need to be followed and there needs to be some determination to achieve the goals

I enjoyed Chapter 3 the most, which explored “chunking”. This is one memory technique that works for me. All in all, a solid book that’ll help improve your memory retention and recall with hands on strategies.

This book provides a clear blueprint to improving your memory by using relatively simple tactics and strategies. It looks at adopting new ways of learning so that you can tackle any mental obstacle.

There are whole books out there dedicated to each technique if you wanted further information regarding them, but this is a great layout of some of the best ones. If you are new to cognitive enhancement- this is a good foundation to start with

This is a book containing techniques to help enhance your mind. They are all well researched and time tested techniques that do actually work if you practice them. You can read the book in an hour, but these techniques can be practiced for a lifetime.

The author does give sample exercises so you can practice the techniques. Since the bulk of the book is about memory, the chapter on numerical calculation doesn't quite seem like a good fit, but I found it to give interesting approaches to making quick calculations. I’ve used some of these ideas myself previously, before learning about them in the book and know that they do help.

This book offers a variety of techniques to assist with memory and even mathematical calculations. After a brief discussion of mindset, habits—I swear most self-help books these days seem to explore these in relation to their topic before diving deeply into it—and some of the brain science and neuroplasticity, the author gets into specific ways to help memory or aid our minds to be more nimble.

This book was super in-depth and included a lot of exercises to practice! I love how detailed the book was and I appreciate the examples that were used, excited to apply some of the techniques to my routine!

A well-informed, personal experience about the exploration of Chan. I enjoyed this thought provoking, educational page-turner. This book is intellectually stimulating given the reader an historical view and training in Chan.

This is the real deal and, like sticking to an exercise plan, if you stick with the ideas, you will be rewarded. A wonderful book and be prepared to really learn and grow!!!!
