Best language book or course I have ever taken, much better than other audiobooks I've tried for German. I really like his emphasis on simplicity and repetition, where the repetition is done in a natural way which doesn't feel tedious. I've gone on to study with his Continuing German audiobook and am really appreciative of the language level Paul has allowed me gain with this. An excellent audiobook!

I don’t understand all the effort he puts in not using any grammatical terms, it can be a bit tiring. And the transformation of some english words to german seems a bit messy sometimes and not super useful.
