About this audiobook

Up until now, middle school hasn’t exactly been a joyride for Greg Heffley. So when the town threatens to close the crumbling building, he’s not too broken up about it.

But when Greg realizes this means he’s going to be sent to a different school than his best friend, Rowley Jefferson, he changes his tune. Can Greg and his classmates save their school before it’s shuttered for good? Or is this the start of a whole new chapter for Greg?

Years ago I read this diary and oh, what nostalgia it gives me right now while I’m writing this review haha. Diary of a Wimpy Kid presents us with a boy who is not perfect and who commits mischief like any child, and at the same time makes you laugh and remember the ones you did at his age haha. This reading is easy to read, its illustrations make the reading swift and quick, and of course, at this age (19 years old), I would like to read the other diaries. (Translated from Spanish)

I loved it so much, very fun and witty, and a protagonist that feels quite real with flaws and successes, with whom you can identify in many aspects. It is a very entertaining and easy read. (Translated from Spanish)

I got this book for my birthday and I loved it. Even though it is aimed at a children's audience, I think we all could enjoy this book. It has beautiful drawings that, although simple, convey a lot. (Translated from Spanish)

Fantastic book, it has a whole great saga and its friend Rowley just started his new diary, just as funny. Just because it’s for children doesn’t mean it won’t bring a smile to your face with Greg's antics and life. Great to start a reading habit. (Translated from Spanish)

I have to thank this book; I read it when I was 11 years old, and until that moment, I had always hated reading. But from this book and the entire series, I discovered that I didn't hate reading; I simply hadn't found a book I liked because I had always read books that I was forced to read in school.

Thanks to the author for this book that made me start loving reading. (Translated from Spanish)

    The Diary of Greg
I read this curious book years ago, when I was getting into the world of reading.
I find it an easy book to digest. It was fun to read, and it brightened up my time when I needed it. It's a great book for kids aged 8 to 10, I think it's interesting and pleasant for spending time. (Translated from Spanish)

The Diary of Greg, every page takes you to those anecdotes of life, those that mark milestones in memories, with family, mischief, the indispensable best friend, the sidekick, the inseparable, the partner. Of course, without forgetting to mention the teachers... Be careful when discovering the "Curse of the LONCHA"... I recommend this reading, the first in the saga, and have a spectacular time. It's a good book that begins with him not wanting a diary, but his mom bought him one, and he has to get used to school along with his friend. He has to face the bullies at school and the cheese touch curse; that cheese touch curse rules the whole school, even the teachers. Plus, he has a crush on a girl named Jess, but that girl is one of the most popular and he doesn't think he can reach her, besides the fact that Greg was a fool. (Translated from Spanish)

Personally, I loved it so much; it has been a while since I laughed so much with a book. I think this book makes us laugh because of all the things that happen to our protagonist. It’s a super great book ? because we can relate to some of the antics; we all go through embarrassing moments in life. (Translated from Spanish)

It's good for a laugh for a while; you realize what goes through a child's mind and how much they have to deal with when they have to listen to others and accept the punishments imposed on them. He's a mischievous child eager to learn from the everyday things in life, which leads him to do things he shouldn't. (Translated from Spanish)

I don't have much to say.
It's a good book to pass the time, to relax when you're very stressed or when you've read a very heavy book and need something light. I laughed all the time with everything that happened to him; I think at some point we've all felt like him or experienced something similar. I haven't read the other books yet, even though I read this one in 2013, and I can add that I'm not very eager to do so, but I'm sure one day I will. (Translated from Spanish)
