    ?My Thoughts?

The more I read historical fiction, the more I like it. This was a very emotional story that was very beautifully written. To think that it’s actually quite possible that someone lived through a life similar to this brings tears to my eyes. I found myself experiencing some very powerful feelings throughout this very moving book. Maisie, the main character was so very strong willed and selfless, not allowing anyone or anything get her down, no matter how much kept getting thrown at her, and I truly admired her perseverance. What an absolutely amazing story! If you’re a fan of historical fiction with a beautiful love story, this is surely a book you must add to your collection.
