London, 1938: Lizzie Larch is a twenty-year-old hat maker in London's east end. She is happy and popular, but she carries a secret. Seven years ago she was viciously attacked and recovered in a private sanatorium where she miscarried a child. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another enjoyable read great story line with twists and turns but strong characters to pull it off I like Lizzie Larch she has a kind heart my only wish is she didn't marry that weakling Harry he was no good for her and too manipulative on the other hand Sebastian is more manly and mature is a better partner for her the narrator did a good job
