I can see why this book has been so highly recommended in the community! Listening to it on audiobook made some parts a little difficult to follow but it's what I had to work with. This is on my hardcopy wish list as I can definitely see quite a few of the exercises, rituals, spells, and suggestions becoming foundations in my practice. I really appreciated the depth of history, mythology, and folklore without it feeling scholarly or elitist. The narrator reading it was spot on with pronunciation of various languages. I enjoyed listening to this version!

This book is great! A wonderful plethora of information on traditional witchcraft and the lore and history behind it and it's practices.
I didn't care for the book being a little slanted towards a specific tradition but it didn't really hurt the information that is presented in the book. Solitary practitioners and practitioners of other traditions can still gain a lot from the information in this book. Highly recommend.
