Like all Peter Cawdron's works, this is a gem. The characters were believable and the voice actor was great portraying them.

A proper amount of mystery, danger and horrors to keep me want to know more. The story unfolds nicely and the characters aren't annoying (which is unusual). Ending, hmm a bit to tidy but acceptable, there's even an opening for a sequel. This is important! This book has no hidden christian agenda, if it had I would never recommend this.

What a fantastic piece of writing, I loved this book , it goes into such detail about the characters you feel you know them. I know this is a work of fiction but the detail that the author goes into to describe the alien craft and the attending robots is incredible , I have a love for quality sci fi as so much of it has actually come to pass , I was born in MELBOURNE in 1954 and back then we didn't have video wrist phones and laser beams and so many other things that we take for granted now , so who knows if we will one day see a space craft from another world land on earth , unlikely maybe , possible ? certainly.
Thanks for a bloody good read.

PS Peter I will be reading more of your work mate , well done and keep them coming.

Enjoyed it very much. It was elaborate and detailed enough. I did find myself guessing correctly as to what was afoot. Nevertheless, great fun. Thanks!

What a wonderful book to read. This story is fresh. The other describes a first contact from average person point of view but still manages to show the intricacy the science the philosophy behind the first contact. It makes the first contact as realistic as possible.

Finally a fresh idea on how aliens and humans can meet. Fantastical but mare realistic than most sci-fi stories. It expanded my horizons of what’s possible.

Interesting story. Kept my attention and there were some interesting characters. Told from the viewpoint of a teenage boy.

I don't usually like alien stories but I enjoyed this one. Hope they make it into a movie. Thought for a while I'd somehow gotten into youth fiction but then it got a bit stressful and then a bit more and then a bit more... Wondered if there was a plot written to get a few disparate people into a situation that requires them to cooperate. We need more stories that question the kill first ask questions later approach. Loved the input of our cousins.

Lost stars as I must say l am sick of the users as the goodies, romeo charlie the enemies; characters being superbly good or endlessly bad. Was disappointed that the author was Aussie but the story had no Australian aspect. And a few untied ends like what happened to the creek water?

A nice take on first contact. Great character development, intriguing storyline, and a good amount of drama and science. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Reads like young adult. Very basic salad of Syfi plot lines.

Wow I have a new favorite author! This guy is on the level of allistair Reynolds. Seriously good story and very likable characters.
