You will not find a more knowledgeable person on the topic of ADHD than Dr. Barkley. I am a school principal and I support parents of Neurodiverse kids & I recommend this book more than any other on ADHD. Especially, if you just found out your child has ADHD. I have the book and read and it then just listened to it and gleaned even more information!
