About this audiobook
Epic McDade is not ready for middle school.
Luckily, he’s got all summer to prepare at his family’s dog-friendly hotel, the Perro del Mar. And what a summer it will be … Carmelito, California, has been named America’s #1 Dog-Friendly Town, and puppies and owners alike are
pouring into Epic’s sleepy seaside neighborhood for a week of celebration!
Business is booming, and the McDades are in dog heaven—especially Epic’s little sister, Elvis, whose favorite celebrity canine, Sir Bentley, is coming to stay. But when Bentley’s jewel-encrusted collar goes missing, every guest becomes a
suspect. And nobody knows the Perro del Mar like the McDade kids. Epic will have to embrace new friends and new ideas to sniff out the culprit.
From the author of Maybe a Mermaid comes a hilarious and uplifting story about learning to unleash your bravest self.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A quirky little mystery full of very memorable characters and lots of canines. I can totally see this being made into a Pixar or Dreamworks animated film. It has that kind of vibe. The narrator did a splendid job with all the voices.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Well-written and thought-out fun middle-grade mystery.
