- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Well, well, well... One of the best. A nice mix of melodrama, action, Psi-ence, and, romance. We learn more about Drakover, of course much of it repeated from other books, but less preachily delivered and overall more subtlely done. The Overworld and Laran sections were among my favourite parts.
tl:dr: highly recommended
* Kyrinn's DarkoverOMeter: Better than Heritage of Hastur, Stormqueen, and Hawkmistress, at least as good as Chattered Chain -- likely better; Streets Ahead of Star of Danger. Still see a lot of synergy with Andre Norton's Witch World, and McAffey's Crystal Series.
