- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Boring just don't waste your time. I could not wait until this book ended.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a very funny, cute and entertaining holiday themed read. Two people, Richard Grimes and Felicia Hawkins who are coworkers, and co-commuters for several years are equally shy, have to find their way to each other romantically. Even though the storyline was somewhat predictable, it kept my interest. Felicia’s grandmother, Grandma Lucy, and Richard’s teenage daughters, Carol, and Marva added reality to the depth of this story. Mary Monroe has delivered another well written and character driven novel. This was a quick read with a love story interestingly different from others. It read like a Hallmark Holiday movie. I look forward to more from Mary Monroe.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This feel-good romance is a quick read yet quite entertaining. Felicia has developed deep feelings towards a co-worker, but is not about to declare herself. And coincidentally, the co-worker finds himself attracted to her. But this budding romance needs a push to get it off the ground! Luckily, another person in the company decides it’s time for her to take charge. This cute tale has it all: interesting characters, even the secondary ones, and a delightful plot. I liked the way the author subtly incorporated the religious aspect without being preachy and told the whole story without any profanity. Well done.
