    This Flat Stanley adventure takes Stanley, his father and brother to Africa in search of a reported flat scull that may lead to understanding of why Stanley has become flat. In the process the three experience the African continent and the reader becomes introduced to the special features of the land and it's ecosystem. Appropriate for 1st graders, this story includes great adventure and in the end everyone agrees that Flat Stanley is a stand out guy.
