- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The narrator is... Australian? Her accent provides an interesting flavor to the narration. The story itself is cute, and the concept of being allergic to going off-world is intriguing. I really enjoyed the story.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The narrator did a good job. The worldbuilding is fantastic. But the story centers around a prodigy, know-it-all narrator with no faults. Every opportunity for conflict or tension gets circumvented and huge plot points only happen off-stage. So many “coincidences” that act as deus ex machinae so the protagonist doesn’t have to deal with conflict. The experience is like reading a book about a rubber chicken.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This was billed to me as a "utopian YA novel." Maybe for the able bodied, but for the disabled it's more like eugenics. Humanity "fixed" all disabilities except being allergic to exoplanets? How interesting....
