About this audiobook
In the vein of Barbara O’Connor’s Wish, this poignant story, told in alternating perspectives, follows a down-on-her-luck girl and the baby owl she rescues.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book so so much!!! I learnt so much and the connection between Reeny and Rufus was so heartwarming and I love how her world grew and how she became braver and found the courage to be authentic. And how the two stories mirrored each other. And how the complexity of nature and hunting and humans were all explored really well. I loved the narration! And I loved the pace. I loved the emotions explored and the pacing of the end. I love how realistic it felt even though one of the characters was an owl. I loved how much it made me feel and connect.
