Ellen Hoil
Ellen grew up on Long Island New York and can’t imagine living anywhere that isn’t surrounded by water. She has gotten even closer by relocating to the farms and vineyards of The North Fork. The slow quiet pace of the off-season, is worth the price of tourist season. In her heart, her second home is Provincetown, MA. A short ferry ride and drive away. She has been absorbing the written word her whole life, getting there degrees from philosophy, to history education, to finally law. Having been caught up in the new world of lesbian fan-fiction that seemed to take off in the late 1990’s, she found her muses and took up fiction writing. My favorite book of all time is The Yellow Wallpaper. But close second is anything by Edgar Allan PoeMy favorite lesbian fiction novel is Lost Daughters by J.M Redmann. This was the book that made me feel deeply and involved in. I have been a fan ever since.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was a good story, although I knew fairly quickly in the story that Sam was Bi-Polar. Being with someone with such a disorder is not always easy, especially when they go off their meds or need cocktail adjustments.
I messed up and read book #2 (Osprey Calling) 1st, so in a way I knew the ending, but didn't quit the book. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Interesting beginning but couldn't reach the end. Too much about mental illness. Good read for those that want to understand more about bipolar issues.
