This series is fun ride but a little more religious than I was expecting.

It started off well, a bit like a 'dirty dozen' in space but then the leader of the team went from an interesting character with a bit of depth to an unstoppable, unkillable vampire superwoman. After that, it was just her getting shot over and over and surviving to save the day. Even the bad Nephilim vampires cannot stand against her. Zero character development and she just becomes a boring, unrelatable, predictable godlike 'Mary Sue' to the complete detriment of the storyline.
What a waste of good potential.
