I really enjoyed this book. It is action packed and pulls at your heart. The main characters are well developed and endure so much it's impossible not to feel their struggle. Other charecters you may find you want to physically harm yourself!there is nothing better then a book that pulls you into the story and Clanless dose that. Highly recommended.

I won this book as an Early Reviewer (Thank You!) in exchange for an unbiased review without having read the first book in the series, Nameless. That said, I easily jumped into the action with the author's references to the previous story dropped in at the right times. The overall storyline concerns four separate groups of people vying for resources in a primitive land. The main characters are members of the different clans who have discovered that they have common concerns that unite them in a plan to keep the strongest clan, the Ram, from enslaving the rest. There is an element of fantasy with one tribe having shamans and another having people who can heal with a touch or a word, but it is mostly about conflicted people using their talents and will to survive to unite others against oppression. There are some bloody and violent clashes, but the genuine characters and their camaraderie make for an exciting and enjoyable read. I will be looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
