About this audiobook
I was reunited with Livingston Montgomery in the broad sunshine of a Carolina morning, right where she belonged; in the light.
It'd been too long since I'd seen her face. She had changed, but so had I.
I was Adam Nova, reformed bad boy. Now, successful business man. I had it all, except for the one person I'd always wanted, and now I was back to claim her.
She was living in the shadows, just a shell of the former girl I knew. But it didn't matter that she tried to hide from me in the dark. I'd follow her into the deepest depths of hell.
I just wanted to be In Her Space.
Contains mature themes.

After finishing Beneath His Stars I couldn't be patient and read anything else but In Her Space, the second novel in The Stars Duet. Livingston and Adam are the definition of star-crossed lovers, soul mates with a history that pushes them apart and leaves them both fighting what's meant to be. We read about their romance and now, ten years later, we get to read about their future, who they are as grown ups, and how life has turned out so very different than readers could've ever expected. Both have changed and while Adam knows he should stay away from her, especially while he's out exacting revenge, he's drawn to her and can't deny the pull.
Adam and Livingston have sucked me into their orbit and I'm not at all trying to escape it. While it's not all rainbows and butterflies, the two make the darkness beautiful in their own way. In this emotional, angsty followup to Beneath His Stars things have certainly changed in the small Carolina town, with Adam coming back holding all the cards and sweet Livingston no longer an island girl. The two are reunited after ten years, but secrets, lies, and past hurts bubble between them and it's impossible to tell how the two lovers could possibly work things out. But one reunion turns into two and soon the chemistry between them heats up again, undeniable still. There's still suspense, the story line from the first novel still plays a big part in this book, but ultimately In Her Space is a love story for two adults that got there start as teenagers.
I really enjoyed In Her Space, I found myself surprised by all the changes ten years had brought on and was really impressed with how Amie Knight presented those changes. The characters are the same, but older, wiser, and I liked that readers are given time to adjust to that. It's still tragic in many ways, no one deserves the story these two have, but they come out on top and it's a magnificent love story in the end.
