- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Absolutely gem of a story ❤️ The ending was trully precious
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Delightful read, Nicky Diss was in my opinion a perfect narrator for the roles. The personalities felt genuine and with their own inflections and quirks that made the different characters all the more believable.

This was so cute, sweet and magical! Absolutely loved this!! I’m going to reread this I think. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fantastic story and marvellous narration. I wish all audio books were this brilliant!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book from the off and the relationship between the main characters is absolutely great. How they handled the news of the curse that bestowed their family in all different ways and the gifts they had been given and what they done was fascinating. Who wouldn’t want a time portal bag and I’ve always wondered about those Russian dolls and if they had a special use. This book was a great story of coming together in hard times and trusting one another that things would work out right. Without giving spoilers away never would I have imagined how the book ended and what a heart warming finish it would have.
I loved the book, the sense of adventure, the history of the actual main plot and its characters including the selfish self centred Pru. The characters that got pushed together to change how life was to something it could be was brilliant. This is my first Michelle Harrison book although I do own 13 treasures as well so I’d like to embark on that series of hers next as I’m sure her writing will just get better and better. A Pinch of Magic really was that and it gave me a pinch I won’t forget
