- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The first half of the book had me on the fence as to whether or not it was interesting enough to carry on, just when I thought of putting the book down, the story seeped into me and changed my opinion until the very end

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved the narration- she really brought the characters to life. A lovely entertaining story.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really like the book and story, although the switching of time periods is harder on audio. One thing that grated, and I realise this is personal choice: the narrator’s ‘male’ voices, such as Bert and Kumar. The narrator is great but I just don’t think her make voices work’
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Struggled for the first chapters...maybe more. Then it took off and I'm glad I hung in there!
