- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Told in three chapters, good if broken up-only tell one story per storytime. 1-new neighbor wants to marry the sisters, 2-playing pirates, 3-sleeping out and sister can not sleep.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very entertaining book for young readers, especially those with sisters who can relate to the fox sisters. Could be used as a three part read-aloud, or perhaps independent reading. Students could write their own story about sisters, brothers, or cousins, and the neighbors that came over to play. Illustrations are bright and useful as a example of how to be creative. The animals come to life in this book in the same way a real family would act with each other.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Her paintings are excellent, simultaneously artful and illustrative. The stories are nicely textured and feel true to early childhood. Because of the swift text, this is a good storytime book.
