- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed this latest sports novel by Dan Jenkins. Bored with the men's PGA tour monotony of Tiger beating up on the wealthy also-rans, a sportswriter decides to cover the ladies tour. An up-and-coming 18 year old with supermodel looks is preparing to change the way the world looks at women's golf. The book starts out with Jenkins' bawdy (and politically incorrect) humor, but mellows out a bit toward the end as the sportswriter develops a relationship with the teen superstar's mother. If you're a fan of Jenkins this is a quick and enjoyable read.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Standard Jenkins charcaters and story, this time set in the world of women's golf, the LPGA. That may not sound glowing, but Jenkins writes with such wit and voice that his characters jump off the page. You don't have to be a sports or golf fan to enjoy this. A short, easy, good-time read.
