About this audiobook
The classic ultra-splatter roadtrip in the spirit of Natural Born Killers and The Devil's Rejects. Roxie is the goth girl of your dreams. There's just one problem-she's batshit crazy and has a fetish for murder. After a petty insult at a gas station, she goes on a murder spree, hunting down those that pissed her off. But she's not the only monster on the road. There are others out there killing and raping. And everyone's headed to the same beach house. A desolate vacation getaway with no neighbors and no one to hear the screams. Deadite Press is proud to bring back Bryan Smith's nasty novel of murder, torture, and the darkest side of human nature - The Killing Kind

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Ahhh, a story of socio-psychopaths killing for the enjoyment. While not as strong a book as his Depraved, this was filled with gore and torture along with youths who just don't give a s**t about society and act on base urges with no moral compass.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I hope this is not the future of horror because I thought it was terrible....weak characters...no story....plot..gratuitous violence..sexual depravity...need i go on...one to avoid at all costs!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A decent slasher from Smith. The blog posts are a little confusing early on, but they become clearer once the multiple threads of the plot start to weave together. Smith writes action scenes particularly well and brings things to a thrilling conclusion.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5After reading three books from Bryan Smith, I am becoming a huge fan of his reads. "The Killing Kind" my favorite so far! I am definately looking towards reading yet another of his books! If I was to be critical, I would only ask for a little more detail....not to the extent of Edward Lee...but a little more. Everything else considered...this is an excellent read.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The Killing Kind is a gut wrenching horror ride with multiple psychopaths on a bloody killing spree. This is a classic story of girl meets boy, kills a bunch of people and then falls in love with said boy. Roxie holds Rob hostage as she launches a brutal binge of murder hot on the trail of some rich kids who insulted her. The story is split into three perspectives until they finally merge at the climax of the story. The characters we meet are given little background information. The background information we are given about Roxie, the main antagonist, felt forced. If you like sexual debauchery and brutal murder scenes then I would recommend The Killing Kind to you.
