About this audiobook
Norman Maclean
Born in Glasgow in 1936, Norman Maclean was educated at school and university in Glasgow, before going on to teach all over Scotland. He garnered much fame after winning two Gold Medals at the National Mod - for poetry and singing - in the same year, 1967, the only person ever to do so. Shortly afterwards he began a career, as he would say himself, as a clown, and it is in that role, and that of a musician, that he is still best-known today.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5"audiobook" with large expanses of water music and silence, and not much content in particular. From the sons of the man who wrote "A River Runs Through It" (interviews with the author, reflections about their dad, a little bit about fly fishing, etc.)
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Why did I spend good cash for this trash? It's a testimonial to the author's father, who made a book that I did not like much. Lucky for that family, it got made into a movie...which made it famous. Now, everybody is gaga over it. This testimonial started about fly fishing, a good subject. However, the (less than 1 hour long) audio book is at least 1/3 air and music. I felt so ripped off that I put it in the category of DBF (did not finish).
