Emily’s First 100 Days of School by Rosemary WellsEmily is starting school. Her teacher Miss Cribbage tells the class that they are going to make a new number friend each day to the 100th day of school. Emily does many tasks to make each number meaningful. For example, Emily and her family bake 2 dozen or 24 cookies on day 24 for open house. I love using this book to count to the 100th day of school. I think it is a great way to teach kids about numbers.I would use this book with Pre-K to first graders. This can help children learn about numbers or reinforce what they already know about numbers. I would use this to go into a counting lesson or a lesson on number identification.

his book is a bout a little rabbit name Emily who describes everything that she does for the first 100 days of school. This is a very fun book. Introduces children to counting and many other subjects that are taught in school. This book can also inform parents what their children are learning for the first days of school.
