I hope you spent your winter training hard! However, even after the best winter pool workouts, when I get on moving water, I’m gassed! Over the years, I’ve learned to prep for paddling season more effectively. With this column, I created a one-hour, ready-to-go training unit focused on the back deck roll. THE WORKOUT
The overall goal is to increase your kayaking power and build strength. This workout assumes you have access to a classic 25 m pool with 5 m warning strings above each
