It was back in 1976 when Jake’s dad, Barry first began rallying. “I competed in various cars over the years, though I hold particularly fond memories of my Escort Twin Cam,” he says. “It goes without saying, building cars and rallying played a big part in Jake’s life from an early age too.” As you’d expect, Jake soon had the desire to own a car himself and Barry willingly obliged by building his son a Mini 1275GT, “I guess that was the definitive moment that sparked his interest in rallying,” Barry smiles.
