We’ve all heard of mistaken identity before, but it’s rare to find many cases in the car world. However, this Escort van would certainly have anyone fooled when it comes to its real roots. “It’s an Escort van that identifies as a Mk3.5,” as owner Jake Palmer puts it. By that, he means it’s actually a 1991 Mk4 Escort that has been expertly fitted out with a Mk3 conversion, which is a fair amount of work in itself, but then Jake has modified it with the perfect blend of parts to create a very cool combo.
