Sweat is inconvenient at best and totally humiliating at worst. But in our attempts to be rid of it, are we blocking the benefits of a natural bodily instinct? The experts think so.
‘Sweat is produced by special glands in the skin as a normal response to increased temperatures,’ says consultant dermatologist Dr Kristina Semkova at the Cadogan Clinic. ‘It’s one of the most effective ways to cool down quickly and to keep a healthy temperature. Sweating is also a way to detoxify,
