THE 302 WAS FAST ENOUGH
I enjoyed the article on Angelo Gargiso‘s XW GS Falcon, it bought back memories of my rides in a Silver XW 302 auto, in Shepparton.
This XW was one of two unmarked undercover police vehicles, the other car was a bright yellow Valiant Charger.
The road between Shepparton and Benalla had white painted start and finish lines that were used for the locals to run some quarter-mile drags on the long straights and also to test top speeds.
